We are very pleased to announce that we are now bringing the concept to the German capital, Berlin!
For all Berliners, as well as travelers to Berlin, there is now a new opportunity to discover the German capital from the water side and to prove their sense of environmental awareness: four GreenKayaks will be available at different locations to clean Berlin’s waters. This is done in collaboration with Carlsberg who sets through our cooperation another point for an environmentally friendly coexistence.
Volunteers can use the kayaks for two hours, provided they collect plastic and other pollutants from the water and the shore in return. The GreenKayaks are placed at three different locations. The rental stations of the kayaks in Berlin are:
- USE – Union of Social Institutions (Wassersportallee 2, Grünau)
- WhatSUPBerlin (Scharfe Lanke 109-131, Wannsee)
- Backstage tourism Kanustation (Nalepastrasse 18, Karlshorst)
The Spree is getting cleaner and you can help from now on! We are very excited about how much trash we will collect from the waters of Berlin and look forward to taking another step towards the global network of GreenKayaks with the German capital.
